Management Monday!

Here is a management tip that I'm sure ALL of you already use!  Each of my students have one pencil in their own pencil box. If their pencil breaks, they may put it in the "broken pencil" box and get a new one from the sharpened pencils (without asking me).  Anytime they find a pencil on the floor, they can put it in one of the pencil boxes based on if it's broken or not. I'm sure you already do this!

But, do you have a cute download?

Praise the lord! I have generic, label-maker labels and every year think: "I need to make some cute labels for these cups." Thanks!!

Thank you so much for the cute download! As a sub, I have to say that (unfortunately) most teachers do not do this...at least not at the schools where I work. I try to remind students to sharpen pencils when they come in the classroom in the morning, but it never fails that as soon as we start to do an activity with writing that at least half the class is swarming the pencil sharpener. UGH!
When I have my own classroom, I will definitely be putting your cute download to use! Thanks again!

I do this too....I love to go to the dollar spot in target and get little buckets and I use labels so the students know which is which. I also have my buckets color coordinated so it is really quick for the kids to get a new pencil. It is also one students job to sharpen the pencils after lunch and before school so we are all prepared for the day! Thanks for sharing your management idea!

I love your cute download . . . however I can't seem to figure out how to download it. Do I need to subscribe to the website that it links to? I noticed that alot of your documents open up in google docs. Is it possible for you to save it in google docs? I am a 2nd year teacher and I don't have a blog up and running yet. Maybe someday! I really enjoy yours! Thanks for sharing all of your wonderful ideas.
