I agree! I greatly appreciate you sharing for free--I'm just not able to purchase units, and I know I'm probably not the only one out there who has to watch spending! I love sharing ideas with my fellow teachers free of charge! Thanks again! Love your stuff!

THANK YOU! I agree with you and totally appreciate you sharing for free!

I feel exactly the same way. Although items/ activities are reasonably priced on TPT I just can't purchase them all. I love sharing my activities for free as a thank you for all the wonderful ideas I get from Blogland. I also can't purchase Thisle Girls resellers licence so I couldn't sell anything I make with those graphics which is basicly most of my graphics. So I will continue to post free activities too.

Hi all! I am a newbie to blogging (and lovin' it!) I've created a blog(I think)because I, too, want to share some of my ideas to thank all of you. I need help though. Can't figure out how to attach documents. I think I need to convert them to PDF first (so the cute fonts remain intact?) but can't figure that out either. Please help debjordan47@optonline.net. Thanks!

You could offer your products on TPT for free. It would be a way to share what you love doing (offering great things to teachers) and reach a base that may differ from those that love searching blogs! Just an idea ;) Gotta love clip art!

I love love love DJInkers too :) I say sell some stuff on TPT and give other stuff away. :)

A friend of mine and I were just talking about DJInkers and how it would be awesome if they sold a seller's licence. I say that we join together and email them to let us!!!

I love your stuff! So do my students!!!

@Jennifer- Let's do it! They are a local company (from Utah) and I think if we all get together and present it to them....I think they would consider it (just like the considered us using their fonts for worksheet printables on our blogs). email me!!!

I agree with you. I have a hard time spending money at TPT because there is so much great stuff out there for free. My stuff is pretty simple, so I wouldn't want to charge for it.

I appreciate the free downloads and ideas, too! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks so much for sharing your awesome ideas! I love everything you do and your blog! I'm like you..trying to think of a way to make some extra money.. because your right.. we don't make much! Alot of times I find myself spending my extra money on my class anyways! Thanks for posting things for free... and like a previous post stated, perhaps you can do both!?
Good luck!!

Hi, Your blog has inspired me so much that I have set up my own, just last week, and have purchased DJinkers too! Check my blog out at www.missmernagh.com. It's brand new, but I have lots of free stuff that I will be posting next week. We all care so much about our students and have little cash ( in Ireland too). Let's stick together.

Thanks for sharing! You have great ideas that are so helpful for a 1st year teacher!

Thank you so much for sharing your ideas and your expertise with us. I have just started my blog and I haven't ventured out into posting my documents yet, it just seems so complicated. I am hoping that I will soon be able to figure it out and share my ideas with everyone.

I too have had that battle with posting my things on TPT. But I feel like I try to have a balance between posting good quality free things on my blog as well as what I post on TPT. Let's face it some people never give away anything for free, they only post when they have something to sell, which is their choice. But I just think it's all about balance...because teachers still end up spending fortunes in order to make our classrooms work for us. If I never make a sale on TPT that's fine, because I still know that teachers are getting quality items for free from my blog. I'm doing what I love. That's what counts.

From a pre-service teacher, thank you so much for continuing to post these. I have about 25 teacher blogs in my feed, which is resulting in an incredible "idea notebook" that will really help me be the best teacher I can be during my first year.

Thank you for sharing at no cost!!!
I am in the process of setting up a blog--thinking it may be Spring Break before it really happens --but I dont plan on charging to share ideas.
Keep the ideas coming!

Thanks so much for sharing your work. I am new to blogging and TPT and I am just amazed at the generosity of all you bloggers. I don't have a creative bone in my body. I have paid for a few from TPT and downloaded free stuff also. I figure I can do al little of both. My team is amazed at what I have found and so thankful that I have to time to search.

I love your blog! A teacher friend of mine told me about it, and we are BOTH huge fans! Thank you for sharing your files with us. We're using your 100's day items - which are so flippin' cute! - in a few weeks.

I am finishing up my early childhood degree and am doing my student teaching, so I REALLY appreciate the fact that you don't charge for your awesome items. Us college kids don't have much money to throw around, so getting such great teaching supplies and ideas from you for nothing simply warms my heart! Thanks for all you do. :)

I am now a loyal follower, and I've linked your blog to my brand new teaching blog. Check it out when you get a chance!

THANK YOU for posting your wonderful ideas for free! I do agree that teachers need and deserve compensation for all the time and talent it takes to create. However as a teacher, I do spend tons of my own money for the classroom.(most of us do) There are so many talented teachers on TpT and I just can't afford to buy all the units and goodies that I would love to have. I am thrilled with blogs and the sharing concept especially for free. I applaud you for sharing for free right now at least! Many of us truly truly appreciate this! Cindy

Thank you for keeping it free! I see so many cute ideas on blogs, but when I read "go check it out on Tpt", I get discouraged and click off. Thanks for helping thos of us who are a little less creative than we'd like to be!

Thank you for the awesome materials! Thank you for keeping it free! In the last month it seems so many of the blogs are posting only to tpt! your blog is what people want! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Wow, how very thoughtful and kind of you! I feel the same way about TPT. I just feel wrong charging my peers for work that I am going to use anyway in my classroom.
You are an incredibly talented and giving person and teacher.God Bless.

I agree. I have a hard time spending more money. I spend so much already! Teacher are resources and we share our ideas. We learn from one another as the children do too. Please stick with it! Thank you so much!

Thank you for posting for free. I have purchased a few items online from other teachers, but rarely. As you said, we make so little and I'm already stretched to the max buying other supplies for my class. So again, many many thanks for what you've shared. May you be blessed 10 fold for your giving heart!

I just found your blog tonight. It is amazing! I've been teaching 1st grade for six years. It's exciting to find new ideas. Thank you for not charging for your resources. I've already e-mailed a few of my teacher friends to tell them about your blog.

I just found your blog today. Thank you for being so generous with your ideas and activities.

Along with everyone else who has commented, I too love that you aren't trying to sell your units. Even if I find a to die for unit, I still won't buy it. Being right out of college and a teacher, doesn't leave me much money and I have better things to spend it on than a unit I could find somewhere else. Thank you soo much for posting yours for free!!

I know this is an older post, but I thought I'd try to ask a question. I'm like you--I DON'T want to sell my things. I want to share-in hopes of getting free fresh ideas myself. May I ask where you get your clip art so that you can just share? Most places I've checked into (and I'm a VERY new blogger/creator) have said that I have to resell things with digital clip art---and offer things free once every few months. So suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks :)
