{Editable} Sub Plan Template Freebie

I've had the idea to share my sub plan template for quite a while, but for some reason I always felt a little silly about it. It's really not the most special thing I've ever made, but at the same time, I think some of you might like it.

Here's the product description:

Your sub plans tell a lot about you as a teacher. Here is a simple template that will help you write nice and organized sub plans. It is editable, so you can fill in all the necessary info yourself including special notes to the sub, your daily schedule, and lesson instructions. It also encourages your sub to write comments about your class and rate their behavior. Jazz it up adding your own cute fonts and/or clip art.

My favorite thing about this format, is that it asks your sub to rate your class on a scale of 1-5. (1 = the worst class you’ve ever seen, 3 = average, and 5 = the best class you’ve ever seen.) I love that this encourages my class to be on their best behavior. I have set it up so that if my students get a score of 4 or 5 they get some sort of reward (I use class points towards a mystery motivator reward), and if they get a score of 1 or 2, they have some sort of negative consequence.)

This is a FREE download, so head on over to my TPT store to grab your free copy!

Think you can use this Sub Plan Template?
Do  you have any secrets you use to help your students behave for your sub?

As a substitute teacher I have seen many different forms of sub plans. Some teachers will leave a detailed minute to minute plan and other will basically say, here's a worksheet good luck. I like how detailed this template is and the section for leaving general comments is genius. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks! Looks like the perfect blend of simplicity and specificity. :)
Glad to see it's "sub approved" (via the previous comment).
