Management Monday....(actually it's Wednesday)!

I consider myself VERY organized and it comes hand in hand with management.  I guess I call it organized, but my husband diagnoses it as OCD. Whatev!  Here is one of my favorite tools to organize my week at school by day and subject  P.S. this is posted on http://www.lakeshorelearning.com for $49.95.  I DID NOT PAY THAT. I had a coupon.  I do love it!  I even convinced my teammate to get one!

My next favorite organizational tool:

The colored drawers!!! Not only do they look cute next to my desk, but I can store so much in them.  I found mine at Shopko, but Amazon has them here for a great price. I have never paid over $50 for them (I have 2 and plan on getting another). Costco might even carry them sometimes.
And last, but NEVER least...The small and medium clear storage boxes. I have over 20 in my classroom alone (they store my centers).  I buy them in LOADS when they go on sale at Wal-Mart. My favorite are the colored lids with the clear bins. Can you tell that I am a teacher? I get excited about colors!!!!

Do you have an organizational tip?

Love your bins... nothing gets me excited more than labels and storage haha. Just wanted to tell you that I have been using the Mystery Motivator you had on here from your friend, and it is one of the best Management tools I have used. My kids LOVE it and go that extra mile to get a card turned over. I know 3 or 4 other teachers at my school who are starting it now too! Thanks so much for taking the time to share!

@Katie-Awesome! I'm so glad it's coming in handy! :) I love labels too....everything in my classroom is slapped with an Avery label (or two).

I love the first item you posted, the color coded bins in a rack! I have them and adore them. It helps me color code by class, because I have multiple grades and ELL levels.

I have been talking about organizing on my blog. I am a new teacher (3rd year) and I really love all of the good ideas! I love it when things are all organized and labeled.

I love this post! I am obsessed with plastic containers, but I think you already know that about me from my posts ;)

I really like the Lakeshore buckets to organize your week. I will have to get something like that. I think it would help me a lot with planning ahead. Thanks for sharing your awesome organization...I can never get enough of reading about it!

Those three things are my favorite! I inherited 2 sets of rolling drawers from a teacher that retired so they were free! {best price ever!} and I stocked up on the M-F bins at Target when they were in the dollar section. Organizing is SO much fun! I recently bought the "behind the door organizer" at Target. I think it's meant for shoes or something but I am planning on using it to store my letter cut-outs in my classroom :)

I use bins from Ikea to organize all of the kids notebooks. I also love to label! That way there's never a question about where things go! My school year goal was to be more organized this year and so far it's working!

I have that same Lakeshore organizer...it keeps my resources and readalouds handy and organized...Love it! Just a funny decal I saw the other day: My co-workers would agree I have CDO...it's kind of like OCD, except the letters are in alphabetical order as they should be...hehehe! I thought that was hilarious! Thank you for your organizational tidbits!

While I love a good plastic tote or storage bin...I have to say my love is with paper products. Each year, I purchase a few packs of the Avery labels and run off a page for each of my students. Anytime I want to label their book bins, folders, writing journals, etc....I pull out their page, remove a name label, and place it on there! It's done already and very simple! One might say I'm label obsessed! ;-)
