Common Core Ready!

Are you moving grade levels or just switching to the Common Core?  You'll NEED these this summer to prepare. They have totally saved me these past couple of years!

Here's a way you can keep track of what standard you teach and when.  Click the picture to see more!

There are two types of checklists. These are the data checklists:

These are perfect for report cards, RtI, data for PLCs, or to give you detailed information for your small group work.

The best part about these checklists is that they are editable! You will be able to enter your students' names on the first document, and it will automatically fill in their names on EVERY page!
If you would like to purchase the ELA or MATH checklists separately, you can find them here:
K-2

We also have THESE checklists available! These make it so you can "check off" things as you teach them so you can track what/when you've taught.

Here's an example of how these checklists can help you organize and teach the Common Core. Once you teach the standard, you "check it off" or put a date on it:

So, are you still doing Common Core? Or is your state dropping it?  To me...Common Core isn't the problem, it's the ridiculous testing.

I completely agree with you about the common core. I have been using the common core standards for the past 3 school years and they aren't the problem. The testing is what we should be opting out of. We got a chance to take a practice version of the new test being rolled out and it was ridiculous!

Thanks for the great resource, the data checklists look awesome!

I am SO GLAD that y'all have these fantastic resources available for everyone. I'm switching grade levels and I thought that I would have to make all this myself over the summer and I can't even express how happy I am that you have saved me so much time! Yess! I also agree that I'm totally on Team Common Core. =)

Come on over and link up with my classroom prep linky! It's perfect for these organizational pages you've created! Do you plan to have any for TEKS? (Texas's brand of common core.) Thanks! Julie
